Md Shamsuzzaman is a microbiologist with a strong academic background and extensive research experience. He completed his B.Pharm and MSC degrees from Stamford University Bangladesh and Konkuk University, Seoul- South Korea, respectively.
Currently, Md Shamsuzzaman is working as a PhD researcher in the Department of Biomedical Science at the School of Medicine, Kyungpook National University His research interests primarily focus on exploring novel bacteriophage, antibiotics, and antimicrobial resistance. He is particularly interested in studying previously uncultured microorganisms from human and environmental niches, microbial ecology, bacterial taxonomy, gut microbiome, as well as the antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, and COVID-19-related aspects.
