Born in Mirano (VENICE) on November 19th 1958, Degree in Medicine and Surgery at Padua University in 1984, Oncology Specialty in 1987, Respiratory Disease Specialty in 1994 and Master in Clinical Risk Management in 2009, at Padua University.
From 1990 to 2005 Medical Oncologist at the University hospital of Padua and Consultant of Oncology at the Geriatric Hospital, Padua. From 2006 to 2009 deputy chief of Medical Oncology Dept at the Istituto Oncologico Veneto IOV-IRCCS where, from 2010 to 2015 was Head of the Thoracic Oncology Unit. Since 2015 is Chief of Medical Oncology Unit at Treviso Hospital.
Actively involved in several international and national Randomized clinical trials; affiliated to the Italian Association for Medical Oncology (AIOM) , the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). Editor and Reviewer for several journals covering lung cancer, anticancer therapy and pharmacology fields. Lecturer at numerous national and international conferences about small- and non small cell lung cancer and Mesothelioma. Professor at the Thoracic Surgery Specialty and Medical Oncology Specialty Schools of Padua University. He has contributed to more than 100 publications, on chest, ENT, and hemato-oncologic neoplasms.
From 1990 to 2005 Medical Oncologist at the University hospital of Padua and Consultant of Oncology at the Geriatric Hospital, Padua.
