André Slowak is an experienced HE manager with expertise as Head of Innovation and Enterprise, Lead for AI projects (current roles) and Head of Postgraduate Programmes/Education. That is, leadership roles on faculty level with Senior Leadership Team remit.
André currently researches on Cultural Standards and SMEs Use of AI. Previously, he has published on global innovation, standard setting strategy, and sustainability. His findings are presented at international conferences, amongst others, Academy of Management (US); British Academy of Management; European Academy of Management; European Meeting on Applied Evolutionary Economics; Regional Studies Association (UK); as well as industry congresses e.g., Electronics Goes Green.
He frequently works with international scholars, industry consortia and has collected big country-comparative data. André gained experience from UK, Germany, Eastern Europe, Canada, China, India and Japan.
André Slowak holds a PhD in Business Studies & Economics from the University of Hohenheim at Stuttgart, and a double degree corresponding to MBA and MSc from TU Dortmund University. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
