Aroon Melwani is a senior marine scientist specializing in the design, collection and quantitative analysis of water quality data. Aroon's scientific interests are principally in the areas of sediment contamination, bioaccumulation, and the biological effects of environmental stress. His technical expertise includes data management, statistical analysis, data integration, statistical modeling, and R programming. During his 16 years of experience working in environmental science, Aroon has conducted biological, chemical, and habitat assessments from freshwater, estuarine, and coastal sites throughout California. The majority of this work has been performed to support ecological risk assessments, aquatic resource studies, sediment quality, and stormwater monitoring.
