I work in Rome, University of Studies “La Sapienza” Faculty of Economy, department of Management. Chief areas of research as follows:
a) Theory of a Viable Systems Approach (V.S.A);
b) Organization and performance of logistic, productive and distributive network with particular reference about franchising systems;
c) Multiplant trans-national Enterprises, with particular reference to the growth of productive centres and the connection between big enterprises and middle ones in industrial districts, connection with chief industries and local development;
d) Process of growth and adjustment of little and middle enterprises in industrial districts.
All these topics have been studied and observed in the following fields: pharmaceutical, motor, nautical pleasure crafts and textile-clothing industries.
Results of these researches flowed on monographies or edited by scientific journal, or presented (after evaluation) to national and international meetings and included in its related official acts too.
These researches contributed also to the scientific discussions, promoting meetings, seminars, workshops. Articles has been published on the most important national and financial reviews.
Scientific collaborations started with some foreign universities as Polytechnic of Poznan (Poland), University of Seville (Spain) and University of Millikin (Illinois – USA).
