Babak Vaseghi received the B.Sc. degree in 2000, the M.Sc. degree in 2002 from Isfahan university of Technology (Iran) in electrical power engineering. From 2001 to 2006 he was engaged as a lecturer-researcher in University of Azad. He received his Ph.D. degree at Institute National Polytechnic de Lorraine (INPL), Nancy University, France in 2010 in electrical engineering. He was with technical university of Belfort and Transport Lab. in France for two years as a lecturer-researcher.
His main research interests are magnetic materials, fault modeling and diagnostic, design, optimization and drive of electrical machines applied in Electric transport and renewable energy systems.
