Dr. Md. Abdullahil Baque was born on 1st February, 1977 in Nilphamary District, Bangladesh. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. Dr. Baque received his B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.) from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) and MS in Agronomy (stress physiology) from Banga Bandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (former IPSA), Gazipur. He has achieved Ph.D degree in Horticulture (Plant secondary metabolism) from Chungbuk National University (CBNU), South Korea. He has also worked as a Post-Doctoral researcher at CBNU from 2011 to 2012. He has joined at SAU as a Lecturer in 2003, Assistant Professor in 2006 and currently Associate Professor since 2011. He is the author of several articles published in reputed journals, and members of six national and international organizations.
