Brian DuPree Athens Georgia received his B.F.A. from The University of South Florida College of the Arts. Brian's works have been featured in national and international solo and group exhibitions.
Brian says that after taking an adventurous trip around different states watching the seasons change and learning about life on those beautiful places inspired him to work more diligently on his paintings. After this "roadtrip", he chose to move back home - where he quickly found himself at ease among other vibrant artists in Atlanta's arts scene. His works are bright, colorful, rich with wonderful depth and tonal ranges thanks to watercolor mediums which appeal very much to Brian's sense of spontaneity- giving each painting its own unique vibe! With so much color abounding throughout all of his pieces coupled by their vibrancy, it has been no surprise for them find themselves within private collections across America.
For Brian, there was never a person, place or thing that inspired his art. Rather he felt a need to create and give others joy through his work. He finds peace in problem solving through colors, composition, texture and shading. Brian DuPree has devoted many years to honing his craft, capturing the beauty he finds in the natural world. His work is centred around the beauty found in nature as well as many hours in the field, studying how plants and creatures act in their natural surroundings.
