<summary type='html'>A large research work on an alternative System of making a column-foundation connection for precast elemens has been carried out and reported in this paper. 
Pad footing made with stel bas plate has been the column-foundation connection investgated.
Full scale tests on precast concrete column-foundation connection have been performed.
