David Schick is a neurologist is the doctor specialized in the study, prevention and treatment of diseases of the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system (nerves and muscles).
The functions of the human body are controlled in the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, together constituting what is known as the nervous system. When a part of this system does not work normally difficulties appear to develop vital actions. Habitual actions like moving, breathing, speaking, using memory and senses, or maintaining a balanced state of mind become difficult.

Schick diagnoses and treats neurological disorders, both of the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (the nerves). Guided by the principles of access, availability, trust, and reliability, David Schick, MD believes that not only does a personalized approach ensure a positive relationship with patients, it also has an important impact on the neurological course and outcome of the patients he cares for.

Schick has been treating neurological problems such as brain tumors, epilepsy, dementias, peripheral neuropathies, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, and multiple sclerosis, for over 11 years.
This neurologist graduated from the Rutgers R W Johnson Medical School and received his MD in 2010.

Some of the hospitals with which David Schick is affiliated, include Mount Sinai Beth Israel / Petrie Campus, and NYU Hospitals Center.
