Digby Warner is Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and Member of the Institute of Infectious Disease and Molecular Medicine (IDM). His research is aimed at understanding fundamental aspects of mycobacterial physiology and metabolism, with a special focus on the molecular mechanisms that underlie the evolution and propagation of drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
