Dario Marra was born in Napoli, October 29th, 1983. He received in 2005 bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Salerno. He received in 2009 master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Salerno. He is currently PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Salerno.
He collaborates to the Project Bitras with the University of Salerno Machinery and Energy Systems group, for the mathematical modeling and development of control strategies to improve performance and emissions of internal combustion engine powered by a gas-mixture ethanol. The project is funded by the Ministry of Industry aimed at studying the production of bioethanol for automotive applications.
He is involved in the European Project GENIUS with the University of Salerno Machinery and Energy Systems group, for the mathematical modeling aimed at developing optimization, control and diagnosis strategies for energy production systems with solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). The project involves research institutes and European companies.
