Dr Hasanain Faisal Ghazi received his Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) from the University of Baghdad, Iraq in 2006. He subsequently did his master degree in community health at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2008. This has spurred him further by pursuing a PhD degree in 2013. His main interest area is child nutrition and health particularly on how it is affected by armed conflicts in developing countries and also childhood Obesity. He is a member in World Public Health Nutrition Association (WPHNA) , Nutrition Society of Malaysia & Malaysian association for study on Obesity (MASO). he was a PhD Fellow at United Nations University, International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) in 2012. Then joined UKM as a senior lecturer from 2013 till 2015. Currently, he is a senior lecturer at International Medical School, Management and Science University (MSU) since January 2016.
