  • The Depot - collaborator on EM-Loader project based at EDINA

  • PublicationsList.org - collaborator on EM-Loader project, run by Textensor

  • A.nnotate.com - online document annotation / collaboration site (also run by Textensor). An example of the kind of researcher-oriented service which repositories could use to provide additional collaboration / social interaction features on their PDF / Word papers.

  • www.swordapp.org - information about SWORD, links to sample code

  • Stuart Lewis's blog - author of sample code for using SWORD

  • Negative click repositories - blog post by Chris Rusbridge, June 2008. Addresses researcher motivations and usability requirements for repositories.

  • myexperiment.org - facebook like web app for sharing data with a focus on bioscience workflows. Includes user profile pages, which could include publications lists.

  • academia.edu - site for hosting researcher profile pages, and linking to uploading papers on scribd. Like publicationslist.org, this has not required a mandate for researcher involvement.

  • bibapp.org - campus information management system, with researcher profile pages

  • Innkeeper at the Roach Motel - great dissection of problems with populating / running repositories. See also Dorothea Salo's Caveat Lector blog.
