Fabian Khateb received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and communication and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in business and management from the Brno University of Technology, Brno, Czech Republic, in 2002, 2005, 2003, and 2007, respectively.

He is currently a Professor with the Department of Microelectronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology; the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Defence, Brno; and the Department of Information and Communication Technology in Medicine, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague, Czech Republic.

He is author or co-author of more than 100 publications in journals and proceedings of international conferences. He holds five patents.

He has designed several extremely low-voltage low-power operational amplifiers, operational transconductance amplifiers, digitally controlled gain amplifiers, diode less rectifiers, frequency-agile filters, voltage and current references, voltage regulators, fractional-order filters and oscillators, MOS resistors and extremely low-pass filters for biomedical signal processing using the CMOS 0.35 µm AMIS and 0.18 µm TSMC technologies.
