Objectives:

To work in an environment where there is an opportunity of self–assessment and self-improvement with research in both individual and group based work that will ultimately lead to the further development of the common people and me.

Academics:

 Ph.D. (Session 2004-2005, Thesis submitted in February) - In Chemistry (Physical) from Department of Chemistry, University of Chittagong.

 M.Phil. (One year course work)-In Chemistry (Physical), Department of Chemistry, University of Chittagong with 66% marks and transferred to Ph.D., (Exam. held in Sep’2004 & Result published on 15, Jan. 2004). Courses under study were-Paper-Ι (Quantum chemistry and Statistical mechanics-Quantum statistics & Statistical thermodynamics), Paper–ΙΙ (Theories and concepts of liquid state, Intermolecular forces in liquids, Viscous flow of liquids, Nature and thermodynamics of liquid surfaces).

 M.Sc. (Thesis) – In Chemistry (Physical), Department of Chemistry, University of Chittagong with First class (1st position with 65.5% marks), (Exam. held in May ’2001 & Result published on 12, Aug. 2002). Courses under study were-Physical Chemistry-Ι, Physical Chemistry–ΙΙ and Physical Methods for Chemical Analysis.

 B.Sc. (Hons.) - In Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, University of Chittagong with First class (Second position with 60.32% marks), (Exam. held in Nov.’1999-May’2000 & Result published on 28, June, 2000). Courses under study were-Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Quantum Mechanics and Spectroscopy, Analytical and Nuclear Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry and as minor courses Mathematics and Physics.


 H.S.C. - In Science from Chittagong Govt. College, Chittagong. Comilla Board. First Division with 67.2% marks. 1993. Courses under study were-Bengali, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics.

 S.S.C. - In Science from Cargill Govt. High School, Sandvip, Chittagong. Comilla Board. First Division with 63.5% marks. 1991. Courses under study were-Bengali, English, Mathematics, Geography, Islamiat, Science & higher mathematics.

Ph.D Thesis title:
“Physico-chemical properties of aqueous solutions of some N-containing hydrophobic organic substances.”

M.Sc Thesis title:
“Volumetric and viscometric properties of binary solutions of tert-Butanol with some Aliphatic amines.”

Language Known: Good command in reading, writing and speaking both Bangla and English.

Present Status:

Expected to Join as Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh at 17 July, 2010.

Working as Research Associate from January, 2006 at Institute of Educational Development, BRAC University, Gulshan, Dhaka.

Computer Literacy:
Have proficiency and frequent working experience in Microsoft Office-word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel, Internet and E-mail Access, Webpage designing etc.
