I am a cross-disciplinary scientist working in Computer Science, User Experience (UX) and HCI research, consultancy and teaching for the last 20 years.
I have experience in many areas of UX/HCI, including requirements capture, task analysis, interactive system design and usability evaluation, including web site design, implementation and evaluation and graphic design and illustration.
I originally trained as a Medical doctor and converted to Computing in 1998 through an Advanced MSc in Computer Science (Human-Computer Interaction) at Heriot-Watt University. Since then I have been working in Software Development, Computer Science research and teaching, UX consultancy and in conservation, land management and rural skills education.
