Karim (Omid) Hajhashemi is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. He is skilled in online, blended and distance learning, lecturing, design thinking, Curriculum Development and new strategies for effective collaboration, education consulting and digital literacy. He is specialised in the innovative use of technology for teaching and learning purposes and has a strong proven research skills, work ethic, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate with individuals from different backgrounds. Omid is a strong education professional with a PhD in education– specifically on the use of digital technologies and effective pedagogies in education – and an outstanding publication record of 36 published research papers, three books and three book chapters (mostly focused on Applied linguistics, educational psychology and the current and innovative pedagogical approaches and trends in the latest educational techniques) within an eight-year period of scholarship.
