Dr. Le Thi Hoai An obtained his PhD (with Distinction) in Optimization in 1994, his
Habilitation in 1997 from university of Rouen, France. She is currently Director of Laboratory of Theoretical & Applied Computer Science (LITA), Paul Verlaine university of Metz and serving as full Professor first class. She is the author/co-author of about 100 journal articles, international conference papers and book chapters, the co-editor of 2 books and 10 special issues of international journals, and has been/is supervisor of 18 PhD theses. She has been president of Scientific Committee and president of Organizing Committee of 4 international conferences, member of Scientific Committee of various international conferences, and has been heading of several regional/national/international projects. Her research interests include optimization and operations research and their applications in Data mining, Bioinformatics, Image analysis, Cryptology, Finance, Telecommunication, Transportation, Supply chain and Management.
