Dr Koa Webster is a comparative physiologist with research interests in exercise physiology, endocrine physiology (chiefly stress hormones) and wildlife health (host-parasite interactions and zoonotic diseases). She pursues these interests in a comparative context, both between species and across mammalian groups (e.g. marsupials versus placentals).
Her current research projects include endoparasite screening of Australian flying-foxes, faecal glucocorticoid monitoring of a variety of species of Australian mammals and examining the health effects of ectoparasites on marsupial species.
