I started to step in the field of neuroscience in March 2006 by visiting Dr. Chaozhe zhu's lab in Beijing Normal University until Aug 2008. During this period, I accepted great training in imaging data analysis. In April 2008 I got my PhD in Beijing Institute of Technology. In August 2008, I launched my first two-year postdoc training in Dr. Todd Woodward's Lab in the University of British Columbia. In this lab, my work involves two parts: 1) participating in developing a new fMRI data analysis toolbox, called as Constrained Principle Component Analysis (CPCA). 2) combining structural and functional imaging data to explore nature of memory deficits in schizophrenia. In the end of this position, I moved to Dr. Sabine Kastner's lab in Princeton University since October 2010. In this lab, I took over Electrocorticography (ECoG) project focusing on mechanisms of response competition, collaborating with Dr. Robert Knight (University of Calfornia,Berkeley).
I would like to share my motto that I love very much for a long time:"fortune favours hardworking", which has been providing me sufficient energy to power up.
