Common Squash Techniques and Skills to Learn

Serving, playing defense, and the court are a few of the skills that need to be mastered in order to play squash. As with any sport, it is important to learn these skills before you dive into a game.

Another thing players should look out for is positioning, which can make or break a match. Players need to know how far from the back wall they are, as well as how much space they should leave between them and their opponent. Additionally, it is important for players not to jump out too far on offense, so that they can control the point more effectively.

It is also important for both players to know their scoring and serve locations. This will allow them to better decide where they want to hit the ball so that they can win points and keep up the pace of play.

Lastly, players must understand where power shots and drop shots are allowed in order to ensure that they are strategically playing at the right time.
