Virologist and microbiologist. I have studied pharmaceutical sciences before I started my research and academic career in microbiology. I studied virology at the Veterinary Diagnostic laboratory, Department of Veterinary Population Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota, USA. Following completion of my doctoral degree, I was awarded a governmental postdoctoral scholarship from the Malaysian government in 2011. Furthermore, recently, in early 2013, I was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the Academy of Medical Sciences in London UK where I worked in the laboratory of Cell and Molecular biology, Postgraduate Medical Institute, Anglia Ruskin University, UK. Currently, I am looking forward to high excellence research engagements.
