Mohiuddin Hussain Khan

Mohiuddin Hussain Khan is currently affiliated with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) from October 2013. Previously, he worked as a Doctor Manager at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) (2012 - 2013), Research Fellow with Kanazawa University, Japan (Oct 2007 - Sep 2012), as a National Consultant for Urban TB Control with the World Health Organization, Bangladesh (Mar 2005 - Sep 2007), and as a Senior Medical Officer with BRAC (Oct 1998 - Feb 2005). He completed his internship training at M.A.G. Osmani Medical College Hospital, Sylhet, Bangladesh during 1997 - 1998.

Mohiuddin earned his Ph.D degree in Drug Management and Policy from Kanazawa University, Japan in 2010, MPH (Masters of Public Health) from the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine, University of Dhaka in 2003 and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 1997.

His research interest includes study on communicable disease control particularly, tuberculosis (TB), primary health care, humanitarian response, quality of medicines, public-private mix initiatives, community based care etc.
