Lecturer: October, 1999 to October, 2002 to the Chittagong City Corpt. College.

I got M. Sc. (Thesis) first class second position from department of chemistry, University of Chittagong in the field of coordination chemistry. I have been actively engaged in research since 1998 during my M. Sc. research which is going on to date.
I obtained M. Phil. Degree from the same department for the research on development of spectrophotometric method for the determination of some toxic elements in biological and environmental samples. Specialty of this research was to use intra-lab synthesized lignad for trace determination of toxic elementals.
Ph D was awarded on bio-analytical chemistry for the development of new method for the determination of 1,4-benzodiazepines and tricyclic antidepressants in bio-fluids and pharmaceutical formulation. Novelty of the Ph D research was to develop HPLC method for their simultaneous determination though it was challenge to elute the drugs of two different nature, nonpolar, BDZs and polar, TCAs and their estimation in a single chromatogram. SPE protocol had been optimized to isolate drugs from biofluids in a single step elution for their subsequent determination in single chromatogram. In addition a selective SPE protocol was optimized when drugs were eluted sequentially fractionating them into two broad classes, BDZs and TCAs, and they were subsequently determined in two different chromatograms under the same chromatographic conditions as developed. This research was recognized by the achievement of best research award by Bangladesh UGC 2009, Bronze award by UNIMAS Intex17 Expo, University Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia.
A number of postgraduate students are supervised working on field of both coordinaiton and analytical chemistry. A number of M.S. and Ph D dissertations from country and abroad have been evaluated. I am working as a reviewer of a number of international journals.
I delivered a number of lectures on national and international conferences and attended in a number of seminars. My teaching courses include coordination, organometallic environmental and analytical chemistry in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs.
