Nilanko Mallik is a researcher in the fields of Neurolinguistics and Shakespeare. He is the author of Compact English Prosody and Figures of Speech (Macmillan, India), and several other academic books and papers on linguistics, Shakespeare and poetry, some of which are studied by undergraduate students in various universities across India. He is affiliated to the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines for his research on people suffering from language disorder. He is interested in treatment of aphasia; language acquisition; Shakespeare in performance.
