After achieving the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TU München in 2009, Nora Martiny graduated in 2010 by receiving the academic degree Diplom Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. From 2009 to 2010 she worked parallel to her studies in the research project „Snookie“ within the robotics cluster Cotesys at TUM on the development of a lateral line sensor for an underwater vehicle and from 2009 to 2010 at the Robotics Research Laboratory, NTU, Singapore on the development of a flow-measurement based motion control for a floating vehicle. Nora did her Diplom thesis about "Development of a temperature sensing system for a humanoid robot skin" in 2010 with the Institute for Cognitive Systems at TUM.
Her research within TUM CREATE focuses on the development of safety monitoring techniques for Lithium-Ion pouch cells. Currently, Nora is developing a method for space resolved in-situ temperature measurement.
