lphillipamos@gmail.com
Phillip Amos was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He is an attorney who has worked on behalf of survivors of intimate partner violence at a community non-profit before attending law school as well as clerking for the Honorable William Robbins in Denver District Court.

Throughout his career, Phillip Amos Lawyer has served as a Deputy District Attorney for 10 years. Half of this time he spent focusing on how to serve children in the community and whether they were victims of violence or crimes. He ultimately led our Human Trafficking Unit and was appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper to Colorado’s Human Trafficking Council where he shapes policy that protects our community from trafficking crimes.

After receiving his law degree from the University of Denver, Phillip Amos became a Magistrate Judge in Colorado. In the course of his career, he presided over alternative courts and served as the first-ever head of Denver's efforts to reduce incarceration rates.

To find inspiration, Phillip Amos Lawyer just travels to natural spaces and paints the beauty he sees. He often paints landscapes from southern Arizona all the way to Canada's Rocky Mountains.
