I am a medical doctor, obtained my M.B.B.S. degree from Kurnool Medical college, India and M.S. from Post graduate institute , Chandigarh, India. I worked as professor and head of department of surgery in various medical colle3ges. .Presently I am working as cheif surgeon and professor and Head of the departmebnt of surgery at Bharati vidyapeeth university medi cal college, and hospital, Sangli,Maharashtra, India. I have published in British journal of surgery, Lancet., British journal of Plastic surgery, Burns- the journal of international society for burn injuries and Annals of burns and fire disasters. I have more than 50 publicaations indexed by Pubmed. My research purblications arae on use of honey in burns, mesosigmoidoplasty for sigmoid volvulus etc. I was chairman of the board of studies in surgery, member of academic council, member of faculty of medicine , member of postgraduate teacher recognition committeeeand dean of faculty of medicine, shivaji university, Kolhapur. Awards: Firrst prize in All India Essay competition conducted by Ministrry of science and culture 1062,, Indian Medical Association Dr..D.S.Munagekar award for the best published research.
