Dr Theano Koutsoupidou is specialised in music education, child development and creativity. For the past fourteen years she has been teaching at educational institutions including the University of the Aegean, the University of Athens, the European University Cyprus, Vocational Training Institutes, secondary schools and early childhood centres. She currently serves as Head of the School of Education at the Mediterranean College, Athens, and Scientific Collaborator of the University of Athens and the European University Cyprus. She also undergoes research on musical play, funded by the Froebel Trust, UK. Theano is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), former Editorial Board Member of Arts Education Policy Review, and reviewer for international academic conferences and journals.
