Thomas Grill is currently finishing his PhD in the area of Interaction Design at the Johannes Kepler University, Linz. He studied business informatics at the Technical University of Vienna. His research focuses on tools and methods for designing and evaluating user interfaces with a focus on ubiquitous interfaces. He is also working on alternative interaction methods with the goal of improving user interaction and user performance in ubiquitous interaction environments. He further works together with Frequentis in the area of air traffic control and public transport where he is an expert for interaction design in safety critical areas.
