Tsenka Stoyanova received the Diploma Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electronics, Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria, in 1994 and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece, in 2011.
From May 1995 until April 1998 she worked as a Software Engineer in Tcherno More LTD, Varna, Bulgaria, and was involved in the development of marine and river radar systems. From May 1998 until August 2001, she held a Teaching Staff positions and was a Faculty Member of Department of Electronics at the Technical University of Varna, where she taught the undergraduate courses on Microprocessor Systems and Digital Signal Processing.
Since September 2001, she has been a Researcher at the Applied Electronics Laboratory, University of Patras. She has participated, or is currently participating, in various RTD projects, among which uWSN, AMIBIO, etc. Publications co-authored by Tsenka Stoyanova received over 50 citations, excluding self-references of co-authors.
Tsenka Stoyanova received the best paper award at the 5th ACM International Workshop on Mobility Management and Wireless Access - MobiWac 2007, for the work “Evaluation of impact factors on RSS accuracy for Localization and Tracking Applications” of which she was the principal author.
