Danecek Vit, Sporik Jan, Pavel Silhavy, Filka Miloslav, Tejkal Vladimir (2010)  AVAILABILITY OF VOIP SERVICE   In: TSP 2010 : 33RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND SIGNAL PROCESSING Budapest, Hungary:
Abstract: The article deals with comparison of using the most suitable transmission media for VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service in package Triple-Play at a distance of 200 m. It describes the service and its requirements on an access network. If necessary to connect two points at these distances, comparison of using FSO (Free-Space-Optics) data link and possibility to use optic fiber with length 300 m are given. Group of parameters defined in RFC 2544, which will lead to comparison of the suitability of using transmission media, is measured for both types of connection with AXS-200/850. Influence of increasing atmospheric attenuation on BER (Bit-Error-Rate) and throughput is described as well. Based on long-term measurement, values of BER and availability of the data link are derived.

Vit Danecek (2007/8)  Uninterruptible power supply with management system utilizing I2C bus for medical devices   Brno University of Technology Purkynova 118, Brno, 612 00, Czech Republic:
Abstract: The object of my master’s thesis is the design a Medical device uninterruptible power supply with managment system utilizing I2C bus. Norm EN 61000-3-2 define electric parameters for medical device power supply. In case of power supply for medial equipment is expressive accent on increased electric strength. This power supply have usually primary and secondary power circuit. Primary power circuit form line accumulator, which supplies needed output to the load and recharge reserve battery. Secondary is formed battery-pack, which serve as back-up power supply at drop-out prime circle. They have a minimum weight, small proportions, large overall effectivity also charging battery-pack and monitoring battery-pack charging condition. Result whole those master’s thesis is design Medical device uninterruptible power supply with managment system utilizing I2C bus and realization board layout. Resulting characteristics designed supply unit are: Output voltages are 5V/ 3 A , 12V/ 1,5 A and -12V/ 0,1 A. Managment support information about: Line adapter/ battery pack switch, battery-pack charging condition and actuall tempera-ture battery-pack.
