 BIO-NOTE Michael Gr. Voskoglou (B,Sc,, M..Sc., M.Phil, Ph.D.) he has taught as a Professor in School of Technological Applications of Graduate Technological Educational Institute (T. E. I.) of Patras, Greece, Mathematics and Operations’ Research. He has also taught at the Schools of Management and Economics of T. E. I. of Messolonghi and of the Hellenic Open University and at the Mathematics Department of the University of Patras. As a visiting professor he has taught in postgraduate courses (Master’s degree) at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw and at the Department of Business Mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. During 1997-2000 he was appointed (under sabbatical) as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia. He is author of 7 books (in Greek language) on Mathematics and Operations’ Research and of more than 210 papers published in scientific periodicals and proceedings of International Conferences in U.S.A., Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Turkey, China, India, Iran Singapore, Brazil, Cyprus and Greece, with many references from other researchers. He has been awarded several honorable distinctions like WHO IS WHO IN THE WORLD, WHO IS WHO IN AMERICA, INTERNATIONAL EINSTEIN AWARD FOR SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENT (IBC, Cambridge, UK), etc. He is member of the American Mathematical Society, member of the Research Board of Advisors of the American Biographical Institute, member of the International Study Group for Mathematical Modelling and Applications (ICTMA) and member of the Greek Mathematical Society, ex Vice President and General Secretary in a series of years at the Sector of Patras. His research interests include Algebra (Ring Theory - Linear Algebra), Applications of Markov Chains and Fuzzy Sets to Management, Economics, Education and AI and Didactics of Mathematics. He was Scientific Director in 5 programs of Applied Research in TEI of Messolongi (Applications of Quantitative Methods to Cooperatives) and instructor of 14 diploma dissertations in TEI’s of Patras and Messolonghi.
