Prof. Wang is now an Associate Professor in China University of Petroleum. He obtained the doctoral degree from China University of Petroleum-Beijing in 2011 with a major in Oil & Gas Storage & Transportation Engineering. Due to the outstanding appearance in scientific research, he was a visiting scholar in The Ohio State University in USA for two years and a postdoctoral fellow in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia for one year. Until now, he have published 28 journal papers in which 22 was indexed by SCI (highest impact factor 4.268) and 23 was indexed by EI; obtained “Chen Xue-Jun Excellent Research Paper Award for Young Scholar” which is a great honor in the field of engineering thermophysics in China; and obtained a software copyright. Now he is the director of two scientific projects: National Natural Science Foundation of China and Science Foundation of China University of Petroleum-Beijing. As one of the guest editors, he co-organized three special issues: “Numerical Simulation of Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Processes”, “Numerical Simulation of Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Processes 2014” and “Advances in Turbulent Drag Reduction” in the SCI journal Advances in Mechanical Engineering.
