Yitzy Rosengarten is a prominent American landscape painter. Born in New York on February 22, 1971, he discovered his passion for drawing while working as a draftsman at the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City while still in primary school.

Rosengarten in 1989 was given a scholarship to enter the prestigious Institute of Fine Arts in New York University. While there, he learned how to paint landscapes using the technique of chiaroscuro. In 1994, Rosengarten graduated with a BA from this university.

Yitzy Rosengarten is also an exceptional draughtsman. He has a refined technique, very precise lines, and good coloring, so all of his artistic skills are beautifully reflected in his monumental visions of the Hudson River.
Yitzy Rosengarten’s landscape painting is based on constant observation of nature. His perspective is not as a stage but as a faithful representation of a place. He proposes to paint through an almost scientific perspective that encompasses the most representative elements of what is being painted.
