Bachelor in Crop Science and Plant Breeding in 1998 at the University of Shiraz (Iran), MSc in Plant Breeding obtained in 2011 Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), the Ph.D. degree in Plant Breeding obtained in 2007, IUT. Visiting researcher, Department of Bioscience, Birmingham University (UK) in 2006 and in DAFNAE, Padova University (Italy) in 2017. Current position is Associate Prof. at the Department of Crop Science and Plant Breeding of School of Agriculture, Shiraz University, Iran. Associate editor of the Journal of Genetics, Genomics and Plant Breeding (http://ejggpb.com). Research areas are molecular and conventional breeding for drought tolerance in cereals and medicinal plants.
